Dr. Armstrong is a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics and Molecular Biology. He then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at St. George's University School of Medicine. He has also received a Master of Science in Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He is a Preceptor for Foundations of Clinical Medicine teaching VCU School of Medicine medical students.
