Dr. Monahan is a member of the American Urological Association, Mid Atlantic Sectional of the AUA, Richmond Academy of Medicine, Medical Society of Virginia and Society for Endourology. He served as the Vice Chairman, for the City of Richmond’s Advisory Board of Health. He is currently the Vice President for the Richmond Academy of Medicine and also served as the Legislative Committee Chair. He was Vice Chief of Surgery, Vice Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff at the St. Francis Medical Center.
