Christine Bouchard, MD

About

Dr. Christine Bouchard brings over 15 years of surgical experience in Richmond to Surgical Associates. She is board certified in both colon and rectal surgery and general surgery and specializes in all aspects of colon and rectal surgery. She is consistently selected for the annual “Top Docs” list in Richmond, VA, by Richmond Magazine.

Dr. Bouchard received her Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2004. She continued as an intern and resident at Eastern Virginia Medical School’s Department of Surgery. She then completed further specialty training in colon and rectal surgery at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Bouchard is committed to providing the best, most up-to-date surgical care to her patients. She spends time with each patient, coming up with individualized treatment plans that are understandable and effective.

Dr. Bouchard and her husband, Jim, have four children. They enjoy camping, rock climbing, fellowship, and homeschooling their children.
