As a clinically integrated network, VCP is comprised of nearly 250 primary care adult and pediatric physicians and more than 750 providers representing over 40 medical and surgical specialties, behavioral health and mid-level providers with over 100 practices and close to 250 office locations located throughout the Richmond metro, Tri-Cities, and Fredericksburg area.

VCP Network Payers
VCP has value-based agreements with five commercial health insurance carriers including a narrow network health exchange product and an MA product. These agreements typically follow a model that includes performance metrics, shared savings opportunities and care coordination fees that are supplementary to fee-for-service contracts that exist between commercial carriers and our members.
In 2019, Virginia Care Partners, ACO was awarded a Medicare contract with CMS.
