VCP Network Payers
VCP has value-based agreements with six commercial health insurance carriers including a narrow network health exchange product and an MA product. These agreements typically follow a model that includes performance metrics, shared savings opportunities and care coordination fees that are supplementary to fee-for-service contracts that exist between commercial carriers and our members.
In 2019, Virginia Care Partners, ACO was awarded a Medicare contract with CMS.
