David Zupruk, D.O., M.S., is a board-eligible orthopedic trauma surgeon with Chippenham Orthopedics in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Zupruk earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Medical Education at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at LECOM Health Millcreek Community Hospital. During this training, he was appointed Chief Orthopedic Resident and was named the 2019 Orthopedic Resident of the Year. Following his residency, Dr. Zupruk completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He holds a B.A. in biology with a minor in chemistry from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Dr. Zupruk is a member of professional organizations including the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His specialties include comprehensive fracture management and general orthopedics.
