Parth Sheth, MD, is a vascular surgeon with Surgical Associates of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Sheth earned his medical doctorate at Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, and completed his residency in integrated vascular surgery at University of Massachusetts Medical School. While there, he received a clinical innovation grant for reducing the length of hospital stays and optimizing the use of hospital resources. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he spearheaded a hospital-wide vascular access team. Prior to medical school, Dr. Sheth graduated with honors from Harvard University, where he obtained both a master of science and a bachelor of arts in applied mathematics. Dr. Sheth has performed extensive research on many aspects of vascular surgery, including peripheral artery disease, aortic aneurysms, and cerebrovascular disease. He has published and presented his findings in the Journal of Vascular Surgery, among others. Dr. Sheth is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
