Dr. Ying Moyer was born in Fujian, China, and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. She received her medical degree in 2017 from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (Virginia Campus) and completed her Pediatric Residency training at VCU in June 2020. She is the first female from her village in China to become a physician.
