About
Jasmine Cutler NP, earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing and her Master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is credentialed with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. As a registered nurse, Jasmine worked for HCA for 13 years. In those 13 years, she spent 7 years in the ER caring for patients seeking emergent treatment for heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and acute coronary syndromes. She then spent 6 years in the recovery room providing care to patients who had received heart valve repairs, cardiac ablations, and vascular surgeries. The skills obtained while working as a registered nurse has assisted her in her current role as a nurse practitioner with James River Cardiology.
She is passionate about educating patients on disease prevention and management. She maintains privileges at Southside Regional Medical Center, Southampton Memorial Hospital, Southern Virginia Medical Center, CJW, and John Randolph. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and American College of Cardiology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves traveling, reading, and musical theatre.
