Kathryn E. Nelson, MD

About

Dr. Nelson completed her undergraduate education at St. Olaf College prior to attending medical school at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Nelson fulfilled her internship and residency requirements in pediatrics at the University of Virginia’s Health System. She is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Nelson is especially interested in the areas of developmental pediatrics and promoting healthy lifestyles with her patients. She also has interest in children with chronic health issues. Dr. Nelson enjoys music, exercising, and hiking as well as spending time with her husband and young son and daughter.
