Mona Maharaj has been an experienced cardiac nurse in our community for almost a decade, and joins us as a Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) nurse practitioner. She has a wealth of experience with all cardiac disorders, with a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. She is well versed in the comprehensive care of cardiac arrhythmias, including medical management and procedural management. She was previously the clinical coordinator of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Cardiac Unit at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, as well as the COVID unit at HDH. She has also been a nurse leader for several years at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital. She is dedicated and extremely focused on excellent patient care.
