Renee Dreher, NP

About

Renee Dreher is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and began her career working as a registered nurse for CJW Medical Center, in Richmond, Virginia for five years. At Chippenham & Johnston-Willis Hospitals Renee gained extensive experience, first working in the Medical Surgical ICU then, making her way to the Endoscopy Lab and eventually the Emergency Department. Advancing her nursing career, Renee returned to Virginia Commonwealth University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult Gerontology Primary Care in 2014. While attending graduate school she worked as a peri-operative nurse at Stony Point Surgery Center, garnering additional experience not only with adults, but also pediatric patients. She transitioned smoothly to her new role as nurse practitioner, rejoining Chippenham Medical Center and practicing in a hospital setting for an additional five years. Renee worked briefly in post-acute care before joining Richmond Gastroenterology Associates in 2021. Renee works in our Midlothian Center offices. She and our physicians work closely together to offer quality patient care.
