Getting to know patients and listening to their concerns and worries make Anna Troutman a compassionate family nurse practitioner. After doing most of her nursing career in emergency medicine, Anna found that a common issue among many patients was not being able to get established with a primary care provider or being unable to get in for an appointment. She chose family medicine because she wanted to help with this issue by giving patients another reliable source for primary care. Anna wants patients to have access to preventative medicine and continuity of care. Anna has a special interest in adult and family medicine. She believes that although she may be only one person, she can do her part to ensure patients get the attention they need. Anna’s favorite thing about her job is getting to know her patients and seeing the long-term improvements they receive from prevention and intervention that consistent care can provide.
