Dr. Busch established Chesterfield Ophthalmology in 1991, and has continued to grow as a solo practitioner in comprehensive ophthalmology. Dr. Busch's area of expertise includes cataract surgery. Dr. Busch is past chief of the medial staff at Stony Point Surgery Center in Richmond Virginia.
Dr. Busch believes that a thorough understanding of your medical and/or surgical problems and treatment allows you to make an informed and educated choice. His practice's mission is to educate the patient, while providing the safest, most advanced medical and surgical care. This knowledge allows the patient to take an active role in the treatment which is an important part of the healing process. Dr. Busch specializes in: small incision cataract surgery with lens implantation, refraction surgery (PRK) for correction of nearsightedness and astigmatism; the treatment of eye diseases, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye and other eye infections; laser and glaucoma surgery, blephrasoplasty (lid surgery) for both cosmetic and medical reasons; lid lesion surgery, Vivite and Lattise.
