Heather graduated from Duke University as a Family Nurse Practitioner after almost 8 years at VCU Health System as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Coordinator. There she learned how to advocate for and empower her patients to take charge of their own health. Prior to that, Heather graduated from the University of Virginia and worked in healthcare consulting in Washington, DC. Heather was drawn to the spirit and compassion she saw in nurses and aims to use that energy with her patients. Heather is honored to walk alongside her patients through the many facets of their lives, promoting holistic health and positive decision-making for patients and their families.
